Introduction
Welcome to RecoveryLab! This document outlines our Terms of Service and Privacy Policy, which govern your use of the RecoveryLab website, application, and services (collectively, the "Service"). By accessing or using the Service, you agree to be bound by these terms.

1.2 Service Description
- RecoveryLab provides tools for tracking, analyzing, and visualizing wellness data, including integration with Garmin Connect.
- We provide the Service on an "as is" and "as available" basis.
- Support for RecoveryLab services is available in English via email.
- We do not guarantee that the Service will meet your specific requirements, be uninterrupted, timely, secure, or error-free.
1.3 Garmin Connect Integration
- To enable Garmin Connect integration, you authorize RecoveryLab to access your Garmin Connect account using the credentials you provide.
- RecoveryLab encrypts and securely stores your Garmin Connect credentials.
- You may revoke this authorization at any time by disconnecting your Garmin account from RecoveryLab.
- RecoveryLab is not affiliated with Garmin Ltd. or its subsidiaries. Use of Garmin Connect is subject to Garmin's own terms of service.
1.4 Limitations and Restrictions
- You must not modify, adapt, or hack the Service or modify another website to falsely imply association with RecoveryLab.
- You agree not to reproduce, duplicate, copy, sell, resell, or exploit any portion of the Service without express written permission.
- You must not upload, post, host, or transmit unsolicited email, messages, or "spam."
- You must not transmit any malware, viruses, or code of a destructive nature.
- You must not attempt to reverse engineer any RecoveryLab code or third-party code used by RecoveryLab.
1.5 Affiliate Links
- RecoveryLab may include affiliate links to third-party products or services.
- If you click on these links and make a purchase, we may receive a commission at no additional cost to you.
- We only promote products and services we believe will be valuable to our users.
1.6 Changes to Terms

- Continued use of the Service after changes constitutes acceptance of the new terms.
1.7 Termination
- You may cancel your account at any time by following the cancellation process in your account settings.
- RecoveryLab reserves the right to suspend or terminate your account for any reason at any time.

2. Privacy Policy
2.1 Information We Collect
Account Information:
- When you register, we collect your email address, name, and password (stored in encrypted form).
- You may optionally provide additional profile information such as your height, weight, birth date, gender, and activity level.
Wellness Data:
- We collect wellness data that you manually enter into the Service.
- With your permission, we collect wellness data from connected services like Garmin Connect, including but not limited to:
- Activity data (steps, exercise, distance)
- Sleep data (duration, quality, patterns)
- Heart rate data (resting, active)
- Other health metrics (stress levels, body battery, HRV)
Technical Information:
- We automatically collect certain information when you use the Service, including:
- IP address
- Browser type
- Device information
- Usage data and analytics
- Cookies and similar technologies
2.2 How We Use Your Information
We use the information we collect to:
- Provide, maintain, and improve the Service
- Process and complete transactions
- Send you technical notices, updates, and support messages
- Respond to your comments, questions, and requests

2.3 Garmin Connect Credentials and Data
- When you connect your Garmin account, your Garmin username and password are encrypted using AES-256-GCM encryption.
- We store these encrypted credentials securely to enable synchronization of your wellness data.
- We do not share your Garmin credentials with any third parties.
- Data synchronized from Garmin is stored in our database and associated with your account.
2.4 Data Retention
- We retain your account information for as long as your account is active.
- We retain your wellness data indefinitely to provide historical tracking and insights.
- You may request deletion of your account and associated data at any time.
- After account deletion, we may retain anonymized, aggregated data that cannot be linked to you.
2.5 Data Sharing and Disclosure
We do not share or sell your personal information to third parties except in the following limited circumstances:
- With your consent
- To comply with legal obligations
- To protect and defend our rights and property
- To prevent or investigate possible wrongdoing
- With service providers who assist us in operating the Service (under confidentiality agreements)
2.6 Data Security
- We implement appropriate technical and organizational measures to protect your personal information.
- We use encryption for sensitive data, including Garmin credentials.
- Despite our efforts, no security measures are 100% secure, and we cannot guarantee the security of your information.

- Export your wellness data in a standard format
- Disconnect third-party integrations, including Garmin Connect
- Opt out of marketing communications
- Delete your account and associated data
